United for Literacy offers free national online programs that support adults and learners at different stages of their learning journey. Whether you are building foundational skills, preparing for further education, or working toward new opportunities, our programs are designed to meet learners where they are.
All programs are supported by trained facilitators and volunteers who provide guidance, encouragement, and personalized learning support.
The NOAL program helps adults strengthen essential reading, writing, numeracy, communication, and digital skills to support everyday life, employment, and independence.
Learners build confidence through flexible online support, including small-group sessions and one on-one tutoring with trained volunteers and facilitators.
This program is designed for adults who want to improve foundational skills in a supportive environment. Learners must have access to an internet connection and a device.

The Learning Disability program supports adult learners who may have, or suspect they have, a learning disability.
The program begins with an assessment process conducted in partnership with specialists. Based on the results, learners receive a personalized learning plan and ongoing support tailored to their needs.
This program focuses on building confidence and developing foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and everyday learning strategies.
Because this is a highly individualized program, learners receive long-term, structured support designed to help them reach their personal goals.
