We're looking for volunteers to provide individualized reading support to children ages 5 to 12 attending summer literacy camps.
Volunteers are asked to commit at least 45 minutes per week — just a small amount of time can make a big difference in a child’s learning journey!

Where: In-person – Public libraries across Saskatoon
What: We’re urgently looking for dedicated volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring support to children and youth ages 6 to 17. Volunteers will meet with their learner once a week at a local public library to help build literacy skills and confidence.
A minimum commitment of 3 months is required — your steady support can make a lasting impact on a young learner’s journey!

United for Literacy is currently seeking 10 French-speaking and 10 English-speaking volunteers for the National Online Adult Learning (NOAL) program, a free, online support with literacy and skills including reading, writing, numeracy, document use, oral communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer literacy.
Every volunteer goes through steps to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed, and they receive ongoing support throughout their time with the program. Volunteering online is flexible and adaptable. The national reach of the program allowing them to learn about people in different cities.
